Since achieving peace in the 1990s, Combodia is back on the global map - reviving a southeast Asian country famous for its rich history, arts, and culture.

Cambodia's prestige can be traced to the Golden Age - the early ninth century to the early fifteenth century - known by historians as the Angkor period where the Khmer Empire flourished. Testimony of this glorious past can be found in the northwestern city of SiemReap where the world's largest religious structure stands.

Plush Ratanakiri wood furnishing, Stung Hausandstone, and Siem Reap silk are a few examples of the art aesthetic carefully chosen for the interior design of Hotel cara, along other local products such as rattan and bamboo.

Each room highlights a balance between space and lighting. Wall decor is intentionally kept to a minimal with the exception of handmade lighting accessories and mirrors. Walls are splashed in contrasting pastel hues to bring out vibrancy and life.
